On October 31, 2026, the Bitcoin dual-staking protocol b14g experienced a security incident where approximately 97 million CORE tokens were withdrawn without authorization, resulting in a loss of $1.36 million. The protocol team has paused affected contracts and is working with partners to trace and recover the funds. BTC staked via the protocol was unaffected.
