Coreum Bridge hacked
The cross-chain bridge connecting XRP Ledger and Coreum was exploited on August 9, 2026, draining nearly 200,000 XRP (~$200,000) by tricking relayers with fake deposits. The attacker abused a flaw in the deposit-verification/relayer logic.
