Coinbase denies data breach after Amplitude vendor incident
Coinbase reported that customer contact details, including email addresses and phone numbers for a small subset of users, were exposed through a security incident at its third-party analytics provider, Amplitude. Security firm SlowMist estimates over 70,000 Coinbase users may have been affected, though Coinbase states its own systems were not breached and customer funds remain safe.
